OTS Releases Reports from Rubberized Asphalt Project

Ontario Tire Stewardship (OTS) has announced the release of three studies/projects
undertaken in support of the development of the rubberized asphalt market in Ontario:

  • A report on rubberized asphalt speciications in jurisdictions internationally;
  • A survey of international jurisdictions with a special focus on those using
    rubberized asphalt in cold-weather road conditions;
  • A technical manual for road engineers, asphalt producers, and contractors
    providing information on the efective use of rubberized asphalt.

OTS is an Industry Funding Organization (IFO) incorporated under Ontario’s Waste Diversion
Act to implement and operate the Used Tires Program.
