Kamil Kaloush, George Way and Jorge Sousa attended the IRF Conference in Bali, Indonesia. The Conference was held from March 22nd through March 24th, 2017. Kamil, George and Jorge gave presentations on topics related to rubberized asphalt. Kamil Kaloush gave an overview of information about all the session topics. The session was entitled, “Climate Resilient Roads & Sustainable Pavement Practices”. The overall Conference was well attended with about 1000 registrants, the Climate Session was also well received with standing room only 50 plus attendance. George Way’s presentation was “Asphalt Rubber, an Overview of the Beneficial Engineering Use of Crumb Rubber in Asphalt Pavements”. Jorge Sousa’s presentation “The Future of Rubberized Pavements Reacted and Activated Rubber”.
